Village

It is the story of a village Called Subarnapur in Odisha. Where people are living like a family. It is a small village comprises of 10 Houses. The village is surrounded by the Green Paddy field. People are so productive and live daily life with so much ease. It is like The GOD of Peace has descended upon earth. All the houses are filled with Wealth and Happiness. The Village is so Independent of the outside world. It has all the Nature provided sources to live daily life. The Village is developed in the banks of Mandakini River. The place is so water-rich is that one can get the water with just 10 Foot Digging. Every House has a Backyard Pond and a Vegetable field near to that. Every house has Cows and Bullocks. The lifestyle is so organic and people are very healthy and cooperative. Only thing is not available is a better road connecting to the city and most importantly electricity connection, But this was never been an obstacle in the way of education, though school is 5 km from Village with a very bad road. All People are well educated and well placed in their life. Electricity connection unavailability is a boon in disguise for the unity of the Village. All the elderly people used to come to the Temple Premises with a lantern and one of the temple priests will recite the verses from Holy book Bhagavad Gita and all the Young people in the village used to sit on a veranda discussing various incidents occurred throughout the days in their lives. There are some rumors that There are 2 occasions of getting the Electricity to the Village from far distant of substation but due to the less security in the region, theft of the electricity cables cost the darkness to the whole village. There were some incidents which disturb the very root of the community, There is always some bad days in all the good things in life. There was a murder in the village which started so much chaos that people started to move out of the Village and Started to fight for better security in terms of the Roads, Hospitals etc. More than the murder, it is the scale of the murder which has created so much of panic.

There was a person with the name Krishna, who used to be work in Military. One day he came to the home for the vacation. It was a winter night, People in the village used to sleep at 9 PM in the night. Suddenly there was a furious knock on the door of the Krishna House, Krishna’s brother was a Rice mill owner which used to work in the hydropower. It is a big house with so many entrances. As there was no such violence occurred in that region, Krishna was unaware of the situation, slightly opened the door and looked at the outside, What he has seen was devastating, with all his power and skills, he closed the door and took his wife to a safe place in the home. As the datasets come to knew about the incidents, they started to break the Door. Then Krishna started calling out the people for help. When the people have started to come out of the home after listening to Krishna’s voice, they were even frightened by looking at the sight. Each Home in the village is guarded by the Dacoits with a Gun in Hand, there is no way one can come out of the village and started fight for the Krishna. There was a man with Name Dinanath who is very brave, who has gone to the top of the house to see the development in the Crime. Eventually, Dacoits broke the door and with and with much resistance from the Krishna, they dragged Krishna to the Road and Hit him on the Head with a Metal Rod and within a minute, He was no more. Dacoits left the Village immediately. Due to extreme fear, no one had come out to open to see the Dead body of Krishna in the Night. Krishna’s wife and Child were safe in the House.

Police came in the Morning, After months of investigation, found some real evidence of the involvement of Large group of the Dacoits, But there was no development on the case after that. It took a year for the people in the Village to come out of the Shock and live the normal life. Krishna’s brother, who was not available on that day still lives in the house and Krishna’s wife left the village permanently. Village with peace is good but the required amenities for the safety of the village is utmost important in this world. The incident leads Construction of a Road to the City for better communication and better infrastructure. The village is still in the hope of electricity connection. I hope the village will get the basic requirements for a fulfilling life in this modern world.
